Dubai Charity continues to broadcast its radio program "Durub Al Ataa," dedicated to fundraising for local and international endowment and developmental projects, on Noor Dubai Radio every Monday from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, live on air throughout the year

The program is hosted by the media personality Ahmed Al-Zahid, and he is joined by Dr. Faisal Al-Hashemi, a preacher and expert in Sharia and law from Kuwait, as well as Emirati media personality and activist Faisal bin Suwaid Al-Shuhi. Their participation aims to inspire the audience to donate and remind them of the immense virtue and great benefits of charitable acts, both for the donors themselves and the beneficiaries.

The association called upon people of goodness and benevolence to support this program, which was aired daily during Ramadan, and to actively engage with the projects presented in each episode. This is aimed at strengthening the values of solidarity and giving, as well as achieving development in impoverished communities, based on the values and ethics instilled in the people of the Emirates to stand by those in need and fulfill their requirements.

In a new statistical report, Dubai Charity announced the amount of donations it received during the past month of Ramadan through this radio program, reaching a total of 3,082,000 dirhams.

Khaled Al-Olama, the General Secretary of the association, stated that "Durub Al Ataa" is one of the pathways of giving for those who wish to do good and contribute to alleviating the suffering of those in need and achieving social stability

Al-Olama mentioned that " Durub Al Ataa " received approximately 333,000 dirhams as Zakat funds during Ramadan. Additionally, 41,000 dirhams were allocated for orphan sponsorship, 4,320 dirhams for Iftar meals for fasting individuals, and 7,500 dirhams for general projects.

Al-Olama urged the philanthropists, partners, and supporters of the association's projects to engage with the program and contribute to providing support for the local and international projects it presents. They emphasized the importance of alleviating the suffering of individuals with medical conditions who are unable to afford their treatment or access medication. Furthermore, they highlighted the significance of achieving the association's targets in implementing developmental, societal, and economic projects in low-income communities.
